THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SAU 9 SAYS HIS ASST. SUPERINTENDENT HAS DONE A SUPER JOB AND HIS DEPARTURE WILL BE A BIG LOSS TO THE ORGANIZATION.

BUT DR. CARL NELSON SAYS HE WISHES DR. BOB GADOMSKI THE BEST OF LUCK AS GADOMSKI PREPARES TO BECOME SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS FOR SAU 44, THE DISTRICT IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE THAT INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF NORTHWOOD, NOTTINGHAM AND STRAFFORD.

GADOMSKI’S SELECTION AS THE NEW SUPT. FOR SAU 44 WAS ANNOUNCED IN FEB. 2013 BY THE CHAIRMAN OF THE SAU 44 SCHOOL BOARD, BRUCE PATRICK. PATRICK SAYS THROUGH THE INTERVIEW PROCESS, THOSE WHO MET WITH GADOMSKI WERE “IMPRESSED WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE, BACKGROUND AND ABILITY TO CONNECT WITH TEACHERS, STAFF AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS.”

GADOMSKI’S RESPONSIBILITIES WITH SAU 9 HAVE INCLUDED CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT AND OVERSIGHT, DEVELOPMENT OF THE ANNUAL SCHOOL BUDGET, PERSONNEL MATTERS AND FOOD SERVICE PROGRAMS.

GADOMSKI SAYS HE LEAVES WITH MIXED FEELINGS – HE’S EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW OPPORTUNITY AND CHALLENGES OF BEING A SUPERINTENDENT – BUT HE WILL MISS A LOT OF THE WONDERFUL EDUCATORS HE SAYS ARE DOING A GREAT JOB IN THE VALLEY.

GADOMSKI WILL FINISH THE SCHOOL YEAR WITH SAU 9 AND OFFICIALLY START HIS NEW JOB WITH SAU 44 JULY 1, 2013.

NELSON SAYS HE EXPECTS TO START ADVERTISING SOON FOR A REPLACEMENT.
