Scarlet Begonias Radio – Mule for Jerry – 8/1/10

by Dennis on August 21, 2010

We’re 15 years out from the death of Jerry Garcia.  On his birthday, August 1st, Government Mule played at Riverfront Park in Cocoa, Florida.  They didn’t play little teases of Grateful Dead songs,  or make subtle references open to interpretation.  They rocked an entire show for the Fat Man, with special guest Jackie Greene,  for a crowd of appreciative fans.
Government Mule is:  Jorgen Carlsson – bass,  Danny Louis – keys, bass, guitar vocals and percussion,  Matt Abts – drums, and  Warren Haynes – guitar & vocals

Warren, Jackie & Paul Ill
