SERVICES SET FOR HERBERT SCHNEIDER

SERVICES HAVE BEEN SET FOR THE LATE HERBERT SCHNEIDER OF NORTH CONWAY, WHO DIED SUNDAY AT THE AGE OF 92.

THE FORMER OWNER AND MANAGER OF CRANMORE MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT – WHO HEAVILY INFLUENCED AND PROMOTED SKI PROGRAMS IN THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY AND BEYOND, DIED OF NATURAL CAUSES AT MAINE MEDICAL CENTER IN PORTLAND.

VISITING HOURS FOR FRIENDS TO PAY THEIR RESPECTS TO SCHNEIDER WILL BE THURSDAY FROM 5 P.M. TO 8 P.M. AT FURBER AND WHITE FUNERAL HOME, NORTH CONWAY.

AN 11 A.M. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD FRIDAY AT OUR LADY OF THE MOUNTAINS CATHOLIC CHURCH IN NORTH CONWAY, FOLLOWED BY A PRIVATE FAMILY BURIAL SERVICE.

A PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF SCHNEIDER’S LIFE WILL BE CELEBRATED FRIDAY AT THE CRANMORE EATING HOUSE/ZIP’S PUB FROM 1:30 P.M. UNTIL P.M.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, SCHNEIDER’S FAMILY ASKS DONATIONS BE SENT IN HIS MEMORY TO THE NEW ENGLAND SKI MUSEUM IN FRANCONIA, NEW HAMPSHIRE OR THE 10TH MOUNTAIN DIVISION VETERANS ASSOCIATION IN CARTHAGE, NEW YORK.
