The Host Monadnock Huskies improved to 3-3 with a stunning 34-7 upset win over the Kennett Eagles last night in what many were calling the upset of the season .
Before a lot of the fans were settled in their seats last night the Kennett Eagles Marched 72 yards on just 3 plays using just 1;11 seconds to take a quick 7-0 lead over the Huskies. The drive was capped off by a 49 yard Touchdown run by Nick Massa to make it 6-0 and Logan Spoor added the extra point to make it 7-0 eagles
From that point on it was all Huskies as they scored 34 unanswered points. The Huskies were led by their powerful running back Blake Bolewski who carried the ball 33 times for 216 yards and two touchdowns. Bowleski did not do it alone though as Quarterback Sam Bednar 64 yards on 13 carries and I touchdown of his own.
The defense of the Huskies held the high Powered Kennett offense to just 155 total yards.
Kennett was led offensively by Nick Massa who had 88 yards on 12 Carries and Matt Gadomski who had 3 receptions for 59 Yards.
The Eagles will look to rebound from this game when they host the undefeated Trinity Pioneers (6-0) on Friday the 15Th at 7pm at Gary Millen Stadium.
