Suspected North Conway Heroin Dealer Arrested Sunday

North Conway, NH – A North Conway Man was arrested this weekend for allegedly having $1,400 in heroin. According to Conway Police they were conducting surveillance of a North Conway residence, where a tenant was suspected of being involved in drug dealing on Sunday. An Officer observed a vehicle leave the residence and pulled the vehicle over for a traffic violation.

Authorities say they discovered that a passenger in the vehicle, 35-year-old Robert Michael Lundrigan, was out on bail for Sale of a Controlled Drug and in violation of a condition of his bail. Upon further investigation Police say they found that Lundrigan was in possession of approximately 7 grams of heroin individually packaged. The quantity of heroin is approximately 70 doses and holds a street value of approximately $1,400.

Lundrigan was arrested for Possession of a Drug/Narcotic and Possession of a Controlled Drug/Narcotic With Intent to Distribute. He was brought before the 3rd Circuit Court- District Division-Conway where bail was set at $1,000 cash following a source of funds hearing.

If convicted Lundrigan could face up to 30 years in prison and a $500,000 fine for the Possession of a Controlled Drug/Narcotic With Intent to Distribute. He could face up to 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison and up to a $25,000 fine on the Possession of a Drug/Narcotic charge. Lundrigan could face additional penalties for violating the conditions of his bail.

The Conway Police Department encourages people to come forward with information about possible drug dealers in their neighborhoods. What is seemingly a small piece of information could be the key piece to a major investigation and, in the case of heroin, could potentially save lives.
