TAMWORTH CRASH VICTIMS IDENTIFIED

NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE HAVE IDENTIFIED THE VICTIMS OF TUESDAY NIGHT’S PICKUP TRUCK CRASH ON DEPOT ROAD IN TAMWORTH.

TROOPER JIM FOGARTY OF TROOPE E IN TAMWORTH SAYS 26-YEAR-OLD THOMAS M. FRASER WAS DRIVING WESTBOUND SHORTLY BEFORE 8:30 P.M. WHEN HE LOST CONTROL AND LEFT THE ROAD, HITTING SEVERAL TREES.

FRASER AND HIS PASSENGER – IDENTIFIED AS ROBERT FRASER – WERE TRAPPED IN THE TRUCK AS A RESULT OF THE CRASH AND WERE FREED BY FIREFIGHTERS FROM TAMWORTH AND WEST OSSIPEE.

POLICE HAVE NOT PROVIDED THE AGE OF ROBERT FRASER OR EXPLAINED HIS RELATIONSHIP TO THE DRIVER.

BOTH WERE EVENTUALLY FLOWN TO DARTMOUTH HITCHCOCK MEDICAL CENTER.

THEIR CONDITIONS HAVE NOT BEEN RELEASED.

FOGARTY SAYS THOMAS FRASER – THE DRIVER – WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED.

HE’S SET TO APPEAR IN DISTRICT COURT IN OSSIPEE MAY 17TH.

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING SPEED AND ALCOHOL AS CONTRIBUTING FACTORS IN THE CRASH.
