Three Arrested After A Night Of Alleged Drinking, Burglarizing, and Driving A Stolen Car In Conway

Conway, NH – Three people have been arrested in connection with a Conway burglary and a stolen car from Maine.  According to the Conway Police on April 21st a home on Quint Street in Conway was burglarized, with electronics, cash and alcohol being taken from the residence. A witness reported that two males had been in the area acting suspicious and were operating a dark colored sedan.

Later that day Police investigated the report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of 6 Main Street in Conway and located a Mecedes Benz that had been stolen from Saco, Maine. Inside the vehicle was 20-year-old Derek Grenier of Biddeford Maine, and 27-year-old Roxann Cook of North Conway. Derek Grenier was taken into custody and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol and Cook was transported to Memorial Hospital to be treated for being under the influence of alcohol.

After Further investigation Police discovered that 26-year-old Corey Lyons of Saco Maine had picked up Grenier in the stolen vehicle and drove to Conway. Corey Lyons and Derek Grenier are also believed to be the two males responsible for the burglary that occurred on Quint Street later that same day.

Corey Lyons was not located that night and warrants were granted for his arrest. He will be charged with Felony (A) Receiving Stolen Property for being in possession of the Mercedes and Felony (B) Burglary for the residence on Quint Street. He was taken into custody by the Biddeford Maine Police Department on Tuesday April 26. He is awaiting extradition back to Conway, NH. Lyons had been arrested by the Conway Police Department on March 31, 2016 for the theft of a motor vehicle and was out on bail for that charge.

Derek Grenier was personal recognizance bailed on the charge of Minor in Possession. A warrant has been issued for his arrest for the charge of Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.

Roxann Cook ultimately left Memorial Hospital on foot and unlawfully entered into a residence on River Road in North Conway, approximately ¾ of a mile from the hospital. Roxann was found inside the residence by officers and charged with Misdemeanor (A) Criminal Trespass. She is currently being held at the Carroll County House of Corrections.
