THREE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER COLLISION IN JACKSON

JACKSON POLICE SAY THREE PEOPLE WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL MONDAY AFTERNOON AFTER A COLLISION IN JACKSON.

PATROLMAN DOUG JETTE SAYS JACKSON POLICE, BARTLETT FIRE DEPARTMENT, BARTLETT JACKSON AMBULANCE AND CONWAY AMBULANCE RESPONDED TO THE SCENE AT ROUTE 16 NEAR THE COVERED BRIDGE AROUND 12:45 P.M.

JETTE SAYS A GROUP OF MOTORCYCLE RIDERS WAS NORTHBOUND ON ROUTE 16 AND HAD TO LAY THEIR BIKES DOWN ON THE ROAD AFTER A WOMAN DRIVING A JEEP PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF THEM.

JETTE SAYS TWO MOTORCYCLE RIDERS – WHO WERE WEARING HELMETS – WERE TAKEN TO MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN NORTH CONWAY – ALONG WITH THE WOMAN WHO WAS DRIVING THE JEEP.

JETTE SAYS THE JEEP’S DRIVER APPEARED DISORIENTED AFTER THE CRASH.

JETTE SAYS ALL THE INJURIES APPEARED TO BE NON-LIFE THREATENING.
