TREES AND WIRES REPORTED DOWN AROUND CARROLL COUNTY

REPORTS INDICATE THERE ARE SEVERAL TREES DOWN ON WIRES AROUND CARROLL COUNTY THURSDAY MORNING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECASTS WINDS GUSTING TO AS HIGH AS 60 MILES PER HOUR THURSDAY MORNING IN CARROLL COUNTY BEFORE DIMINISHING IN THE AFTERNOON.

NORTH CONWAY FIRE AND RESCUE AND NORTH CONWAY AMBULANCE RESPONDED TO THE AREA OF 621 KEARSARGE ROAD IN NORTH CONWAY SHORTLY BEFORE 6:45 A.M. AFTER BEING NOTIFIED A TRANSFORMER HAD BLOWN AND THERE WERE WIRES DOWN.

A RESPONDER AT THE SCENE REPORTED TWO PRIMARY WIRES WERE DOWN AND A TREE WAS RESTING ON A THIRD WIRE.

THE POWER COMPANY WAS REPORTED TO BE ON THE SCENE.

A RESPONDER SAID THE ROAD WOULD PROBABLY BE CLOSED DOWN TO ONE LANE WHILE REPAIRS ARE BEING MADE.
