WOLFEBORO FIREFIGHTER RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

A FIRE CHIEF IN WOLFEBORO SAYS A 23-YEAR-OLD WOLFEBORO FIREFIGHTER HAS BEEN RELEASED FROM A HOSPITAL AND IS HOME RESTING AFTER BEING INJURED DURING A FIRST-ALARM FIRE IN WOLFEBORO.

DEP. CHIEF TOM ZOTTI SAYS THOMAS A. TRASK WAS DISCHARGED FROM DARTMOUTH HITCHCOCK MEDICAL CENTER SUNDAY AFTERNOON AFTER BEING FLOWN THERE FROM HUGGINS HOSPITAL, WHERE HE WAS INITIALLY TAKEN AFTER BEING INJURED DURING A HOUSE FIRE ON PINE STREET IN WOLFEBORO EARLIER SUNDAY MORNING.

ZOTTI DECLINES TO RELEASE THE NATURE OF TRASK’S INJURY BUT SAYS HE IS EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO RETURN TO WORK SHORTLY – AND HIS DEPARTMENT AND TRASK’S FAMILY APPRECIATE THE CONCERN THAT’S BEEN SHOWN ABOUT TRASK.
