Wolfeboro Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealer Responsible For An Overdose Death

Wolfeboro, NH – Police have arrested the person responsible for the overdose death of a Wolfeboro man last fall. The New Hampshire Attorney Generals Office announced today that Wolfeboro police arrested 26-year-old Tanya McCormack, of Effingham for allegedly selling fentanyl to 22-year-old Cole McMahon which caused his death in September of last year. McCormack is being charged with Acts Prohibited relating to the sale of the controlled drug fentanyl. The Wolfeboro Police Department has been actively investigating this case since McMahon’s death. The charge carries a possible maximum sentence of life in state prison with the possibility of parole.
