The Kennett Eagles improved their seasons record to 4-1 Saturday night with a 54-0 over 1-4 Merrimack Valley Pride In a game that was totally dominated by the Eagles from start to finish the Eagles Jumped out to a 47 -0 halftime lead.
The Eagles defense held the Pride to 5 total yards and intercepted two passes from Pride quarterback Derek Barton.
The Eagles offense was once again very efficient led by Quarterback Jesse Wheeler who was 4-4 passing with one completion being a 20 yard scoring strike to Logan Spoor. Jesse also had a touchdown run of 1 yard for the Eagles.
On offense the Eagles rushed for 236 yards led by Nick Massa who had 93 yards on 11 carries with Touchdown runs of 1 and 4 yards Matt Gadomski had 79 yards rushing, with a 14 yard TD run of his own.
Once again the eagles dominated special team play when Matt Gadomski returned a pair of punts for touchdowns of 55 and 65 respectively. Logan Spoor added 6 extra point for the special teams.
