Ski New Hampshire Weekend

New Hampshire is celebrating its skiing heritage this weekend. Skiing is New Hampshire’s state sport so ski resorts around the state are offering deals on ski passes, lessons, and gear. Deals at the resorts around the Mount Washington Valley can be found below.

All Weekend Long
Show up to Bretton Woods with lift tickets or season passes for three or more New Hampshire ski areas, including Bretton Woods, and you’ll be entered into a raffle for a 2017-18 season pass to Bretton Woods to be drawn at the end of the weekend. The pass is non-transferrable and has no cash value.

Sam Adams Air & Après is coming back to Cranmore! This nighttime showcase combines the thrill and technical skill of some of the best skiers and riders in the sport, alongside cutting-edge 3D projection mapping. Sam Adams Air & Après is an on-snow spectacular that has to be seen to believe. Stop by the Sam Adams Festival Village during the day, check out the noon-time demo at the show site all to get you get ready for the night show. Air & Après festivities kick-off around sunset, so grab yourself a cold Sam Adams, get there early and come party the night away with Sam Adams Air and Après. Then, take apres-ski to the next level with live music in Zip’s Pub and the excitement of Cranmore’s signature event, Cranapalooza.

Cranmore is pleased to offer New Hampshire-themed events and vendors, plus a limited supply of $30 lift tickets, which can be purchased online in advance at least 4 days prior to the event. In conjunction with the Appalachian Mountain Club, Great Glen Trails offers you the chance to really get to know Pinkham Notch, with a free Ski with a Naturalist tour (trail pass is required). When you ski with a naturalist, you will learn about the flora and fauna that make our corner of the world so special.

 

 

 
 
Saturday, January 27
Kick off the weekend with the Kid’s Fun Race 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Races are free to all with a lift ticket. Awards at 1:30 p.m. in the Fireplace Room. Warm up after with special NH food and drinks from the Pine Cone Café.

Once the sun goes down, it’s time to join us under the lights of the Twisted Pine Terrain Park from 6-8 p.m. for the inaugural King’s Mark Freeride Series – Rail Jam. The first of the three event freeride series with awesome prizes from our event sponsor Fire On The Mountain/Burning Boards.

Après ski live music in the Trail’s End Tavern with Jazzy Jill and the Jems will wrap up Saturday’s events after a fun day on the slopes like they used to back in the days of wooden skis and leather boots!

Sunday-funday will also be full of Good Vibes…coffee that is. Good Vibes Coffee Roasters will be at the King Pine base lodge with samples of their specialty grade Arabica coffee. The coffee is small-batch roasted in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Good Vibes is a Fair Trade Certified coffee roasting company; they are diligent in the study of their craft and meticulous in the attention they pay to every batch of coffee roasted.

Join us a for a guided snowshoe walk along the East Branch and Saco rivers. This is a great way to try this winter activity, which is gaining in popularity with each season. The tour will last between 1.5 – 2 hours covering a distance of fewer than 2 miles at an easy pace suitable for all ages and abilities. Learn about the trees and wildlife and search for animal tracks while learning basic snowshoeing technique and bushwacking skills.
